Using Technology to Support Learning, Communication, and Inclusion
Technology can make learning environments more inclusive, giving every child a chance to participate, communicate, and succeed. Inclusive technology uses tools, devices, and digital resources that support different learning needs and abilities.

Important Considerations
Technology works best when adults provide guidance and support, tools are matched to the child’s needs, screen time is balanced with social interaction and play, and learning remains interactive and meaningful. Technology should help with learning and inclusion — not replace real human connections and relationships.
“When used thoughtfully, technology helps children talk, join in, learn, make friends, and thrive — both in school and in life.”
