Community Support & Ministerial Visits — October 2025 Highlights

A heartfelt thank-you to our partners and leaders who lifted our students this month with resources, encouragement, and time. Below are photo highlights and brief notes you can skim.

Gratitude to Alaia Resort & Friends

Thanks to the generosity of Alaia Resort (San Pedro, Ambergris Caye) and the support of Mr. Scott McArdle, Mr. Jason Edwards, Mr. Anthony Johnson, and Mr. Michael Theus, our students received new school bags, essential supplies, and standing fans—creating more comfortable learning environments. The joy on our students’ faces reminds us why investing in children matters.

Thank You to Minister Oscar Requena, Hon. Ramon Cervantes, & the MoEST Team

On October 7, 2025, we welcomed Hon. Oscar Requena, Hon. Ramon Cervantes, and MoEST’s senior management team to the Stella Maris Special Education & Life Skills Learning Center. Their visit affirmed the importance of inclusive education and energized our students and staff. We look forward to continued collaboration.

Scoops of Joy: Minister Usher’s Ice‑Cream Jam

On October 8, 2025, Hon. Gilroy Usher, Minister of State for Public Utilities, Energy & Logistics, visited our campus and surprised students with ice cream. After 25 years of service in education, his continued support and encouragement—especially as we transition to the University of Belize West Landivar campus—mean a lot to our community.

A Visit Full of Care: Hon. Kevin Bernard (Minister of Health & Wellness)

On October 9, 2025, Hon. Kevin Bernard spent time with our students and staff, sharing encouragement and confidence in our mission to build a strong, inclusive learning environment for everyone.
